Are you sure you are up-to speed with the patch news again.? The last patch
also fixed the false-positives with what you describe, namely on cs_italy
for me previously. Issue has been resolved for my servers / clients after
thorough testing last night with friends and sv_pure set to 1.

Yesterday's patch notes: "- Fixed an sv_pure bug that resulted
in false inconsistent MD5s"

I have just added sv_pure to the server launch command as you see below:

./srcds_run -game csgo -console -usercon +net_public_adr 99.37.0.53
+hostport 27017 +game_type 0 +game_mode 1 +mapgroup mg_fullrotation +map
de_dust2 +sv_pure 0 -autoupdate -steam_dir ../steamcmd/ -steamcmd_script
update_csgo -debug

And it works like a charm. Should have read the first statement a little
more clearly. Just changing the cvar in the server.cfg just sopped the
server from constantly kicking players out for the false positive
pack01_000.vpk, for instance. Was kicking 3 our of 4 attempts. Thanks for
the advice this works MUCH better! (who knew)

Now we need to get connection consistency to allow more then just 2 players
and tweak out some of game-play. Weapons do not seem to be as accurate as
they should be. Otherwise, everything is working beautifully. Keep up the
fantastic work!

Best Regards,

Krillin

Adding +sv_pure 0 drastically increases my startup time (as it's skipping
the hash, no?).

This command only solved the issue with kicking players out of the server
with false positive readings of .vpk file differs from server. We had use
this command to stop this. However this command doesn't stop the server from
constantly rehashing the .vpk files when a server a launched or restarted.

We all agree. We need a better mechanism for checks of server / client files
then this.

Have you added +sv_pure 0 to command line so server doesn't try to hash
files?
