Can players reserve a server even if it's password protected ? 2013/2/14 Winnie the Pooh <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> A couple questions about sv_workshop_allow_other_maps: You mentioned previously that the API keys were used to potentially rate limit servers. Is there any more information on how this works? An example concern, a malicious user goes into a server and starts reserving every map in the workshop to consume unnecessary space and bandwidth on the server. Would this count against that API key? Do the downloaded maps stay on the server after the reservation? If it stays on the server, will they be in the same directory as the /workshop maps (is there an easy way to delete the maps in necessary)? This is by design. * Added a community dedicated server convar "sv_workshop_allow_other_maps". When this option is enabled and the server is idling empty, it will allow players to reserve it on another workshop map. Server will then download the other workshop map and let players play it, after the map ends the players will mapcycle into workshop collection hosted by the server. We think this feature is great for users and admins since it provides players a place to try new maps and for admins it turns empty servers into honeypots. So we hope you leave it at default and try it out. Thanks. Thanks. * Deagle: increased effective range. * P250: reduced effective range. * Glock: increased recoil on burst. * Added a community dedicated server convar "sv_workshop_allow_other_maps". All protobuf demos should be playable again. * Maps that are newly subscribed are now highlighted as NEW in the UI. _______________________________________________ Csgo_servers mailing list [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/csgo_servers -- -Winnie the Pooh TimetoKill.net _______________________________________________ Csgo_servers mailing list [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/csgo_servers
