I just wanted to point out, that you all are arguing about something that's barely noticable to the regular player. Like ...not even close. A 128 tick server with a var of even 2.0 .... what? That's like a tick of 120-128 ( wild guess.... )? Are you REALLY arguing about 8 ticks or what?
The whole issue regarding he server performance wouldn't be THAT much of an issue, if PLAYERS wouldn't be so damn picky. They think if a 128 tick server has a var or 2.0 = "SHIT HITREG BLA BLA BLA". Sometimes perfectionism stands in the way of actual practical benefits. If i was Valve, i'd totally remove these values from the netgraph ( tick and sv ). Or at least make a cvar so server operators can decide if they wan't to get it displayed or not. Less crying from players ...more pew pew. There's literally no reason for players to be able to see those values, since they can't affect them anyways. sv and tick should be only displayed to the server operator, so he can monitor the performance. Make a cvar to hide those values. Will lessen the enormous amount of (most of the time...) totally uneccessary complains. I bet no one will notice a worse hitreg on a 128 [email protected] compared to 128 [email protected]. Yet i need to run less servers in order to get the 0.5var, just because... yeah. Why? Complaining from players, since they need to search for excuses. /rant Regards -- View this message in context: http://csgo-servers.1073505.n5.nabble.com/Server-performance-problems-tp6375p6757.html Sent from the CSGO_Servers mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Csgo_servers mailing list [email protected] https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/csgo_servers
