We have a policy against using cell phones in the library, and ask them to use them in the lobby outside the library itself. The board adopted this policy after we received several complaints from other patrons. We even have signs with a line through the cell phone picture. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen though! Some people talk constantly on their cell phones while using the public Internet or word processing terminals, and others stand at the circ desk or PAC making calls to find out what item they were supposed to be looking for or picking it.
