Property is a legal invention. Like the corporation. It came into

to legitimize and institutionalize the holdings of the rich.
Property is an agreed upon fiction. Especially when it is in the form
of land.
How can you own something that was here before you and will be here
after you.
It is the state that insures ownership. If there is no state, then you
need
to command force to protect your property.
Property rights are flimsy at best. Human rights and property rights
often
come into conflict where the property owners userp the power of State.
Then
comes revolution and property is redistributed or redefined.
Funny how Libertarians and Conservatives and capitalists in general
see these
legal inventions as natural rights. There is nothing natural about
lawyer
reality. It's always just a temporary condition.
