Robert. I just signed up on the internet and information was minimal. I
understood I am to receive a modem, for $12.95 shipping. I haven't received
anything yet. Think I should wait to see what I receive to find out what I
need. My desktop computer is a do it yourself P3 1000 with 512MB Ram and
20GB hard drive. My wife's laptop is a Compaq Armada 7000 with P2 266, with
192 MB Ram and 6GB hard drive. I was thinking wired. Your CWE cash of
hardware is good to know, and I may borrow to try some if I run into a
problem with what I buy.
You mentioned filters. What am I filtering? Where do I put these? What is
the DSL frequency? Tony.

NAT/FW you are welcome to try out to see if it works for you. The CWELUG
also has some ethernet cards donated by various members that you are
welcome to try, also.
