You mentioned filters. What am I filtering?

If I understand correctly, they are low-pass filters, and prevent your phone from introducing high-frequency noise onto the line where your DSL modem is.

Where do I put these?

On every phone jack. The jack where the DSL modem is can either not have a filter or have a filter that's also a splitter.

What is the DSL frequency?
