OK Robert: I sent a form I did in Scribus into work (so I can use Adobe Acrobat). It opens and renders fine and I can enter into the fields but I can't save it. It does print a nice hard copy. Here is the message Acrobat reader gives: " Adobe Reader does not save the data you enter into form fields. When you've completed this form, you may be able to submit it for furthr processing or print it. To save the data that you enter into form fields, please complete the form using Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional or Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard or later instead of Adobe Acrobat Reader." I also tried to save it as plain text and that too did not preserve the fields. I think to save the forms you need Adobe acrobat reader 7. I am going to send you the form I created with Scribus, in a separate e-mail. Maybe send out the form in *.rtf? Certainly the windows computers have an *.rtf editor (Wordpad?). -- Kind regards, Jonathan _______________________________________________ CWE-LUG mailing list [email protected] http://www.cwelug.org/ http://www.cwelug.org/archives/ http://www.cwelug.org/mailinglist/
