Nothing.  I educate those new users I help set up web based accounts for, and I'm 
happy to
help a customer who asks for help, as you did in the case you cite, but I don't think

My customers have more problems with the inaptly named Hotmail than all other such 
services
combined.  It's so bad that I have a big sign that reads "You will be charged your full
connect time, even if Hotmail is not working or fast" and even then I get complaints.  
I
educate those I can, but I've found that most of the educable public gave up on 
Hotmail a long
time ago.  It's a no win situation, I'm afraid.

No.  I use Netscape Messenger to do the same thing.  No one has messed with the 
configuration,
but someday someone will.
