At least one force to my knowledge had CS gas shotgun rounds
and a baton round gun (with baton rounds and CS ones) back
in the early 1980's.
To my knowledge they have never been used operationally.
I only remember one case of a CS 'baton' round being used
(in a siege) and one of those missed and ended up in the
gutter.
