Steve,

Here is TVP's prompt response to my enquiry about ACPO finance

Okay:
1) and how is that relevant to TVP specifically, do they know what these
committees do?
2) once again, is this a help to TVP to pay an organisation to respond
to it's own members (very few of whom work for TVP) and other people
TVP have no connection with?
3) so what precisely is the operational policing policy unit's job
at the HO then?
4) Surely the "focal point" for contact is the HO or the Association
of Police Authorities themselves?

Are ACPO seriously saying that when TVP needs to contact the HO they
should relay it through ACPO?

This is a taxpayer funded police quango, and it is a waste of money
by any reasonable measure, as far as I can see.

Steve.
