Try 'American Small Arms Academy' (ASAA), run and founded by Chuck Taylor.

Has bases in both Wallingford/Fairfield, Connecticut, USA and Prescott,
Arizona, USA.

Was Chief of Training Operations at Gunsite when Jeff Cooper ran it.

He does "all" the 'Special Ops'-type training for "agencies" and
governments. Swiss Army adopted his teachings and methodologies around
1997-1998.

He is a four-gun master; pistol, shotgun, machine gun and 'L.R. Precision
Rifle'.

I am a LFI I, II and III Graduate, and also of American Small Arms
Academy.

For East. U.S. ASAA: Contact: Frank Cornwall at:
Defense Associates (also teaches LFI !)
Box 824
Fairfield, Ct. 06430
USA
203 259 1803 after 5 PM E.T. (bedtime in Europe)

see their website at: www.defenseassociates.com for all the poop you'll
need.

You want the 'Three Day Defensive Handgun Course" ; US $ 425.

 June 16-18 ; July 14-16 ; Aug 18-20 ; Sept. 1-3

You will enjoy Gary Nalband; Closest thing to a finely tuned and fully
operational <shooter> "Robocop" there is anywhere.

They also have rifle course, which I'd highly recommend.
Tell'em Gregory sent you; we're 'buds'.....

Have fun -

Gregory

The one I was thinking of in Virginia is called Blackwater -
www.blackwaterlodge.com

Not sure if there is much point in doing a defensive handgun course
seeing as handguns and defensive use of them are illegal here!

Blackwater, Thunder Ranch and Gunsite all do carbine courses and
TR and GS have lever-actions in mind from what I've been told about
the courses.

Chuck Taylor is one hell of a teacher though - he does courses
in Switzerland which might be a bit easier to get to.

Steve.
