Aleph is a religious organization. You are basically calling for them to
renounce their association with their religion? I am truly very surprised
to see this said here.

And regarding the renounciation of the past actions of certain members of
Aum Shinrikyo, I do believe that they have done that...

(Is that enough? You tell me. What would you have these people do?)

[Note to Tim May: Looks like I was wrong. In the above "letter" I have
referenced, the Aleph PR dept. states "the Tokyo subway sarin gas case was
caused by major leaders of the then AUM Shinrikyo."]

No logic fault. I think your logic interpretation routines are
defective. Let me explain:

Ms. Tsolis states that the JYA story was incomplete. That is a given; all
stories are.

Ms. Tsolis comments on the segue into the discussion of JYA's actions in
posting the information.

Ms. Tsolis points out that a far more interesting discussion is not
"should JYA do this" but instead "why should the Japanese government
care?"

I do not get the impression that she was stating that JYA should have
second-guessed the Japanese government.

Do you really think that? This ex-employee put himself at risk to leak
that information to JYA. It seems to me that he had an agenda, and cared
enough about it to risk himself for the desired consequences.

Now, what might he have wished to gain from leaking this
information? That's a question worth discussing.
