I doubt it, at least at this point. Ed and Paul have there hands full developing already, and I support them whenever I have time. I would say until more developers come on or if a bunch of users want to take up the effort, it won't happen. An IRC channel would only be useful if some experienced users of Dabo were on there to answer people's questions.
If you want to take the initiative and start one, by all means go for it. Just make sure that it doesn't go dead..... Cheers, Nate L.
