I understand your concern about getting nagged for nothing, what would be a good option name for opting out this single question? Maybe we could add the same option to other cases as well, so we don't introduce a single option for this case only... For my amended patch I have not included an option to disable the questioning for now. May I ask you kindly not to apply this patch in your repo until we sort out how to deal with it conditionally?
