I've also checked with #mercurial who say they've had a positive experience with the SFC so far. I didn't include these points because they seemed more internal than pointed at Karen > Regarding (6), as Karen points out, we need to work out > > - Who currently has decision-making responsibility for the project > (e.g. Eric and David)? > > - What conditions must be met for a decision to pass (e.g. two-thirds > majority)? I propose we leave David and me as the two sole Developers (i.e. the two signatories from the darcs side), and that I be delegated the responsibility of representing darcs to the Conservancy. > - What is the process for "graceful" handover to new representatives? > Example: Eric loses interest in Darcs and doesn't want to work on it > anymore. It's worth giving thought to this. Although for purposes of signing the agreement, I think the answer could be "well, fork it" for the moment. There would also be other issues to deal with, e.g. what do we do with darcs.net? It doesn't appear that we need to settle this right away, and I think that should we stray into overthrow territory, we could re-open the discussion then.
