19 riders pitched for the MTB ride on Saturday. At the railway line crossing Gawie decided that Klipkoppie just had too many "klippe" and that he was going to do the traditional N1 route. He was joined by Roelien and Liza while the rest had a ball tackling the "Koppie" and the "klippe".
Back at the crossing some more people decided that Klipkoppie and Af/Opdraande fontein on one day were just too much and headed back home while the rest had a ball doing the up, down, up and down of the Fontein. Saterdag sal ons weer die tradisionele "N1" roete doen, maar by die 4x4 baan gaan ons nie net deurjaag nie. Die jonges en jonges van gees kan so tien minute se "drop-offs" geniet en die ander kan die maklike bane so bietjie probeer of sommer net rus. Dan doen ons ook die wildtuin lus voor ons Opdraandefontein (die Oostelike deel deur die hek) aanpak. Die minder geesdriftiges is welkom om met die grondpad (boring!) op te ry.
