Of course it has. The problem is, to be really useful the lightness
channel should be blended, too, but independent from the colour. The
color adjustment blend mode is primary intended (at least as far as i
know) to reduce the strength of the automatic color scaling of the tone
curve module. Most propably you want to use some other blend mode.

Workaround: Two instances of tone curve, one blend mode lightness, the
other blend mode color, this way you can control the strength of the
color adjustment manually.

Sidenote: I am missing the possibility to copy the parameters between
instances of the same module, or maybe even to keep them in sync for
setups like the one mentioned above.
