Try this, using two instances of denoise (profiled): denoise (profiled), mode: wavelets, strength: 1.0, blend: uniformly, blend mode: color denoise (profiled), mode: non-local means, strength: 0.5, blend: uniformly, blend mode: lightness What this does is more strongly reduces the noise in the colour and less strongly in the lightness. Strong noise reduction in the colour is less noticeable to the eye than in the lightness, so you retain more apparent detail but still get good noise reduction. I've got this set up as a style so that I can easily apply it to many images at once in the lighttable.
