Not sure too. Which version of CUPS is that? Also on which OS? I found
some reference of a freeze on MacOS with some probably old version of
CUPS. Nothing obvious at this stage...

Are you saying that you have 100 of printer configured in CUPS and that
anyway only one (PDF) is shown by GP dialog? This is maybe not from
