Now that's a really confusing statement.

One of the reasons I don't like Windows is that it is graphical.
here I can come up with possible answers but they are all command line answers, starting darktable with, for example, debug or logging flags on the command line, specifying where the logs go so that you can specifically retrieve them, giving the logs date-time markers, not erasing previous ones.

*sigh*.

Saying jpeg works and then jpeg doesn't work is confusing.

Not least of all because darktable doesn't use jpeg internally.

Once again, I'm asking you to describe you PROCESS.
