There's a better link (https://www.darktable.org/resources/) to the manual which can be read online, and if you go farther down the page, you can download a PDF of the manual.  Be aware that while darktable is in version 3.2.1 right now, the current manual is only to version 3.0.  There is a new version of darktable coming out on Christmas, and the revised manual should follow pretty quickly.

I would add: read the manual, please (https://darktable-org.github.io/dtdocs)

Specially, the section dedicated to the overview of the workflow: https://darktable-org.github.io/dtdocs/overview/workflow/

Best regards,
