Actually the OP was asking about .RAF files.
Your point about not knowing what some random camera uses is pertinent
though, why should J Random Anton know what other cameras use .RAF files
apart from knowing first hand one that does.

Change the subject? Then perhaps it should have been changed a while
back when Ian started discussing the .RAF files his HS30EXR, which, like
the F600EXR, uses a CMOS sensor. We're all just lazy, I suppose.
Anyway, it makes threading easier for those that thread by Subject
rather than Message-ID references.

Oh, right, you're in Germany not France or Canada.

über Geschmack lässt sich nicht streiten

Yes, I'm assuming that the darktable binary pulls in libdarktable which
can pull in libGraphicsMagic which can pull in dcraw.so which can pull
in, for example, libz. All the way down without turtles.

As for GIF files; I've just started darktable on a GIF file and it
renders it and lets me edit it and save the result and yes the edited
result is quite differnt from the original. Yes there isn't GIF on the
pull-down of save options. So I'm unlcear what you mean when you say
GIF is not possible. Is it that you can't save as GIF, because you can
certainly read a GIF with darktable.

Are you always this angry and irritable with people who don't see things
the way you see them?
