On a second thought, I think that I agree with Torsten. The group = 
directory idea is quite intuitive. And I agree that the current visual 
hints of grouped images can be reinforced.

Another reason for which I do not use DT for culling/reject is because I 
do not really delete the images the first time. I use a script to 
physically move them to a directory on a disk out of the backup chain, 
and leave them there a couple of weeks before definitely delete them. If 
it was possible to redefine the "delete" for `rm` to `mv` that will be 
really nice...
