Not necessarily: in my case, I use jpg+RAW, because I'm content with the ooc
jpg most of the time (say 95%), but keep the RAW for those 5% where I need
it because of wrong exposure, excessive NR in the ooc jpg, etc.

Still I use dt for cropping the jpgs and organizing the jpgs together with
with the RAWs.
