Hello Tobias, thanks for looking into that. The "original file" you are referring to is the DNG file created by x3f_extract. So I took your feedback and create a bug report for that tool saying that darktable is not reading their DNGs. The answer I got is this: "This is not surprising. Almost no one, except Adobe, reads Linear RAW. The thumbnail they refer to is there. But, there is also a Linear RAW, that they probably do not read." What does that tell me? I do not understand a word. I do not own a Sigma camera. So I do not really suffer / benefit from the matter. But I know from other forums that Linux - Sigma users are looking for a RAW workflow in the Linux world. As far as I know the x3f_extract DNGs is the only potential way to handle Sigma RAW files with Linux.
