So far my only problem with DP in Win& 32 bit is that I can't get a
shortcut either into my start menu or my toolbar. I have not tried a
databse with an incrementing field, yet. But perhaps a work around would
be Ralph Alvy's recursive link, which is supposed to be better for most
purposes.

Hi Ralph,
That's what I thought too, so when I replaced my laptop, I got Win 7
Professional 32 bit, which comes with XPM. Although I might not have
needed it. I initially installed DP in the XPM window, but somehow got
a shortcut on the Win 7 desktop. It worked just fine.
On the DPMouse problem, I think I found the cause. On page 20 of the
manual, Application Layout Restrictions, the first line states: "Field
boundaries /must/ be discernable when the "cursor" lands on the
field." And it is bolded. Well, the background color for
bold/underline was the same as the field edit background, and
apparently, DPMouse couldn't determine where the field boundary was. I
changed the field edit background to a different color and even with
the underlined label, the check box worked.
I had been looking in the wrong section of the manual, so when I
started at the beginning...

How do you run DP on Win7 at all? I thought it couldn't be done
unless you're either using a virtual XP window for it, or using
DOSBox without the ability to print from it.
