Sounds like startup is not clean.
Could you post the syslog lines relevant here at trace_syslog=5. Those
would include the full startup sequence.

I changed the TRACE_LEVEL=5 under the [IMAP] section in dbmail.comf and
there are quite a few lines, 600 plus.
You do mean the lines from the maillog ?
