Good because it's a proper separate usb id so it can be detected as such and not confused with some other serial-to-USB devices. The bad news is that that's why your kernel does not make a ttyUSB out of it. We'd need much more information for that. Please run lsusb -v -d 0dd0:2001 Samuel
