Hi, Yes I meant the console works much better with speakup then orca does in the terminal as I get lots of text from previous screens and when using speakup in the console only it reads very cleanly and not so scattered. I prefer when I use the shell to use speakup rather then orca so yes the console is what I meant to say does not work in the Forky installation but orca does. Nick Gawronski

Speakup won't really work in a GUI session, which is where the terminal is
running from.

Why according to you, Orca is not working in the terminal?

I use Orca in the terminal on a daily bases without problem.
