Well, I just expressed my opinion on what would be good, I have been a bit provocative on purpose (in the hope to get you to move, but it doesn't look like it has worked). You have also been rather terse in all your comments. I have no big personal plans for coreutils so I'm not annoyed in any way by the fact that you're not doing much with the package but it would still be good for Debian in general if you could reconsider your position... if you're not increasing the time you're putting into coreutils it would be benefic to use a part of this time to find help and lead a team instead of not doing a big part of your maintainer job.
