I've found that defoma is fairly unmaintained now, and there's a message from Paul Wise saying that he intends to drop defoma from squeeze (although this didn't happen). See http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=478704 which explains how to make the fonts available to fontconfig, but you've done that. But there is a problem: the xorg server currently only looks for fonts in /usr/share/fonts/X11/..., and it seems that fontconfig isn't yet properly integrated with X.... :-( Julian -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
