Hi again, all. I decided to reinstall, to get back Xfce, Synaptic, @ $ € , and clean away the mess I probably made with a rogue command as root. Seems to me this old Mac can't boot from usb, only cd or dvd. The commands to burn iso to usb, are they usable for dvd, too? 2 other questions: 1. It was optional to set "for slow memory" as an extra service during installation. What is that? 2. Why does graphics use some of the memory? BR, Gunnar
