Hi Scott:

Friday I upgraded from IMail 6.xx to 7.04 HF1. And I'm running Declude 1.28.
So I don't know WHICH party is responsible - but suddenly my "per domain"
configurations don't see to work as intended.

I have a directory for "WebsterWatch.com" with a $default$.junkmail file
that should only WARN. Instead it's using the system wide
$default$.junkmail that uses ALERT. WebsterWatch.com is one of the many
domain name alia associated with one particular virtual host. The official
domain name is "mail.webhost.hm-software.com" for that virtual host.

In my thinking, you should use the "TO" (alias) domain name and try to find
a matching Declude directory - if that's not found, then you COULD also try
to look up "official host" domain name (HM-Software.com), if you feel so
inclined.

I really thought this had been working fine in the past.

Look at this log:

11/05/2001 15:03:03 Qf0572ce Msg failed REVDNS (This E-mail was sent from a
mail server with no reverse DNS entry.).
11/05/2001 15:03:03 Qf0572ce Subject: BOXES YOU SENT FOR EA FLORIDA WITH
INSERT
11/05/2001 15:03:03 Qf0572ce From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To:

Notice how Declude is using the FINAL (official) host name in the log.

Now look at the mail header and all the declude variables in the ALERT
message. Everything is using the domain alias (websterwatch.com) - so
clearly, Declude DOES have access to that information. In fact, given the
alert message, it took my QUITE a while to figure out what the problem might
be!
