Well, my answer was that Declude can, but the risks of accidentally deleting good mail outweighed the convenience of not having to hit delete. She went over my head and got the bosses on her side. Now I've gotta have a meeting with them and come up with a solution. Any suggestions?
I have found, here, that a lot of people are just as happy with the attach option. This prevents the user from actually seeing the email if they don't want to. I attach automatically on emails using the "F" word, no matter what the weight is. I have very few false positives on this, although I do find that, for some reason, an occassional excel file will trigger the filter. Delete is so..well..permament. We don't delete anything. I hold as opposed to delete, then tranfer it to another folder, marked by date. At the end of the month, I just delete the folders for the month. This works well for me as I have only one domain and a relatively small user base.
