I have a173 plus files in the spool that are T and D files with no matching
Q file Why and what are they These file are anywhere from 30 mins
to 2 hours old

A T file is a Q file that IMail is in the process of receiving (it gets changed to Q after IMail finishes receiving the E-mail.

If you have 173 of them that are less than 2 hours old, either IMail has 173 activation connections, or something went wrong. You might want to check those files to see if there is anything in them that provides a clue as to what they are (normal E-mails, spam, etc.).
