Show  me  a  Serial  ATA card with 128 MB of RAM and I'll consider it.
Until  then,  SCSI  continues to be the only way to build servers with
the  throughput  our  customers demand; SATA and ATA/133 cards are not
going to cut it.

Well, that depends on your performance target. Certainly, if you don't
need the performance, it can seem like you're throwing money away.
