Did you backup the DB in 5.5 then restore it using 6.0?
I believe it's backwards compatible but like most IB versions it's best to
backup in the original version (transportable format) then restore that into
the new version.

whe have a db that was created in IB 5.5 and wen I ran our application using
the new IB 6 engine, I got the error "General SQL Error, internal GDS
software consistancy check(cant continue after bugcheck)"
