And in the same vein I'll recommend looking RPPro from Nevrona
(www.nevrona.com) which we use as our internal reporting engine. Although
we only use low level code that adstracts Windows printing into something
usable they also have a very high level report designer that can do all
sorts of wonderful things for you.
The current version is 3.0G and is extremely stabe. A new 3.0H version
will be available some time soon, and a version 4.0 is being build that
includes such fun stuff as reporting to Adobe PDF format.
