You don't need a faster machine, the main difference is graphics, which
you can turn off if you want, or
Get a decent graphics card. But at the price of hardware these days
what's the point in sacraficing yourself to old gear. In reality you
don't want XP with less than 1gz and 256mb. I use 1gz and 1/2 gig ram.

Think I'll stick with 2000 for a while longer.
