(1) Don't look for Delphi-Vista knowledge, you're limiting the search area. Look for "Vista", nothing more. You'll find all the info you need on MSDN (don't buy a subscription, all the info is "live" on msdn2.microsoft.com). All you'll need to do is read C++ (2) Unfortunately I already have LOTS of Vista users! Many of my customers are government / education institution, and the Ministry of Education in Romania bought Vista when it was available for corporate users and spread it around the country. It was in my opinion a mistake, not because Vista is bad but because it caught everyone by surprise! Poor souls in schools had older computers, unable to handle Vista, and got hit hard by the lack of drivers for whatever they needed drivers (printers). So I had lots of Guiney-pigs, all of them tolerant to mistakes because they were expecting things NOT to work. Moving forward I'm now recommending Vista on all new computers specifically bought to be used with my software. (3) Ask whatever Vista-questions you have on the list. We all need to learn those things, so questions are very welcome, I'm sure. Some of us might have some answers... Hey, you may even post questions AND answers if you got them! -- Cosmin Prund _______________________________________________ Delphi mailing list -> [email protected] http://www.elists.org/mailman/listinfo/delphi
