This happens a lot on Windows particularly the more modern ones. You may find other workarounds mentioned on this list from time to time. You will benefit greatly from more screen space - I use two screens (for Main Display, Source PDF, Print View, Scheme Window, LilyPond Window ...) though many will be iconized as well.
