Attaching derby-6213-05-ab-misc2.diff. This patch converts the following
packages to Java 6:
org.apache.derby.io
org.apache.derby.iapi/types
most of the packages under org.apache.derby.iapi.services
The patch introduces a temporary lint warning in the build output. This is the
first of what I expect will be a number of lint warnings caused by unchecked
operations. I have come to the conclusion that the next step will be to convert
the rest of the code to Java 6 and live with the lint warnings for a while as
we clean up the actual code which causes the compiler to complain about
unchecked operations.
I am running tests now.
