Attaching derby-6213-08-ab-jdbc.diff. This applies the last (JDBC) bits of the
derby-6213-06-aa-convertProductToJava6.diff patch. In addition, this patch
incorporates the merge with Knut's last checkin. Tests passed cleanly for me
when building the patch against Java 8 and running the result on Java 8. Before
committing this patch, I want to use the Java 8 build to run the tests on Java
6 and 7 also.
