I have not been following this conversation in detail but did look at the
functional spec, but did feel particularly clear after reading it as to the
incompatibilities that this change would introduce. In the revised spec, could
you give an example of an SQL statement that would cause a difference in
behavior after the change. Perhaps include the proposed release note so it
is clear.
