Yes, this would be a nice feature. To turn on the panel Logout/Shutdown features only for users who have RBAC permission. However, this is an RFE to enhance gnome-panel logic and would have nothing to do with GDM, FYI. Currently gnome-panel only shows these items if GDM already allows all users to shutdown/reboot their system. It sounds like you want gnome-panel to also show these items if GDM has it turned off, but the user has proper RBAC permsissions. Certainly something to consider implementing. Brian
