Maybe Adobe doesn't have enough to win here. Either the animation
artists are already using Linux and managing fine without Adobe, or they
use Adobe on windows/Mac and merily switching to Linux wouldn't help
Adobe to increase its revenue.

In the latter case it doesn't mean that the customer wouldn't benefit
from switching its animation application to Linux, but it would require
a different vendor to make that happen because only this other vendor
would have a natural interest in disturbing the status quo.
