Hi Roland
I'm away from my machine I use to build b2g but I will email the exact steps I
use to build later this evening. I basically used the mdn guides to setup the
build environment but I used steps found elsewhere on the web to build b2g and
I flash it manually in fastboot (versus using flash.sh). I also had to modify a
boot.img to get it to boot, again using info from the web. The gentleman that
figured out how to modify the boot.img has a download available but it didn't
work for me (I believe his boot.img is based on a 1.0 build where as I modified
a 1.1 boot.img that I pulled out of the zte official 1.1 update. Again I'll
write more later when I can.

Subject: Re: [b2g] ZTE Open - supported or not?

Thanks Joseph, i have seen that you can use 1.3 - but it seems it's not
possible to upgrade to 1.4 or 1.5.
i have tried to build 1.3 myself on a virtual ubuntu machine which does nothing
else and is configured as described on MDN.
but i can't actually build anything - the build fails for 1.2, 1.3 and
everything else. ( i did not try 1.1 since that is obviously available directly
from ZTE)
i have access to my phone, the /system gets pulled and then there are many many
errors and finally - build failed.
i must be missing something, it cannot be that hard....
