I looked up "zte open boot.img" and it came up on the first page, near the bottom. The fact that we got the link on this thread is probably going to boost the link's rating already. > He does do a couple things I'm not keen on like using CWM and he says to > place the "chmod" lines in init.rc after line ?280? > The place I used in init.rc is between lines 111 & 112 which I found by > looking in a working boot.img found on XDA from an > untrusted source (the poster doesn't tell who built the boot.img so I > didn't trust it enough to run it but I looked in it for > answers). That sounds about right. > I still have the 1.4 & 1.5 builds laying > around but I haven't played with them much so I can't comment on their > stability. 1.5 (now called 2.0) is the current master so that's going to be fairly unstable even on other phones. 1.4 should be in decent shape but it's not fully stabilized yet. 1.3 is pretty solid on the other hand; in my experience it's fairly pleasing to use for a primary phone.
