Hi Henrik,

this is great news, welcome!

Christian López Espínola is in charge of the new sequence diagram
implementation. My goal for sequence diagrams after the release of 0.26 is to
change the class org.argouml.uml.reveng.ui.RESequenceDiagramDialog.class so
that it works with the new sequence diagrams, so I'll be involved, too.

Have you set up a working environment? After checkout from subversion, you can
setup an eclipe configuration using the available project set, the cookbook
provide the steps in detail.

The new sequence diagram implementation is an internal module that is not used
by default (and that is not included in the alpha/beta releases!). You can use
it with the

-Dargouml.modules=org.argouml.uml.diagram.sequence2.module.SequenceDiagramModule

java option when starting ArgoUML, or using the provided eclipse launch
configuration.

These are the open issues so far:
http://argouml.tigris.org/issues/buglist.cgi?Submit+query=Submit+query&subcomponent=Sequence2+Diagrams&issue_status=NEW&issue_status=STARTED&issue_status=REOPENED&email1=&emailtype1=exact&emailassigned_to1=1&email2=&emailtype2=exact&emailreporter2=1&issueidtype=include&issue_id=&changedin=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&short_desc=&short_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&long_desc_type=substring&issue_file_loc=&issue_file_loc_type=substring&status_whiteboard=&status_whiteboard_type=substring&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=&cmdtype=doit&newqueryname=&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time

I hope you will get the knowledge you need for continue your work on JSeq, and
look forward for working together! Let us know about how it's going for you.

Regards,
Thomas
